Purpose & scope
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what is and isn’t allowed when using the MSP Reports platform and website (the “Service”), operated by Athena Networks. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to every user who accesses the Service. Defined terms have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
Data & authorisation
When connecting systems and generating reports, you must:
- only connect systems you own or are authorised to connect;
- only access and process data you have the right to access — including obtaining any necessary consents from, and arrangements with, your clients;
- use the data and reports only for legitimate business purposes;
- keep your account credentials secure and not share access with unauthorised people.
Prohibited activities
You must not use the Service to:
- break any law or infringe anyone’s rights, including privacy or intellectual property rights;
- access data or accounts you are not authorised to access;
- upload or transmit malicious code, or anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful;
- misrepresent the source or accuracy of reports, or alter them to mislead;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties except as your agreement permits;
- copy, reverse-engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the extent the law allows;
- use the Service to build or train a competing product or service.
Security
You must not:
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent its security or authentication;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, or the data within it;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other tenants’ data, or related systems.
If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly using the details in Contact rather than exploiting or disclosing it.
Fair use
The Service is provided on a fair-use basis. You must not place an unreasonable load on the Service — for example through excessive automated requests — or use it in a way that degrades performance or availability for others. We may apply reasonable limits to protect the Service and its users.
Reporting violations
If you become aware of any breach of this policy, or any misuse of the Service, please tell us using the details in Contact so we can investigate.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected breaches and take action we consider appropriate — including warning you, limiting or suspending access, removing offending content, or terminating access where the breach is serious or not resolved. Where the law requires, or where there is a risk to the Service or others, we may act without prior notice and may report unlawful activity to the authorities.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
